You agree that you are voluntarily agreeing to join UNIT 13 Fitness.

In doing so, you confirm that you are voluntarily engaging in a mixed modality weight training program with UNIT 13 Fitness, and your participation involves a risk of injury.

Furthermore, you agree you have filled in our exercise readiness questionnaire, and disclosed any relevant information that may effect your training with UNIT 13 Fitness.

UNIT 13 Fitness Contract Agreement Group & PT

After the FREE consultation all clients sign up for initial period of 4-13 weeks. 

  1. All clients receive a ‘welcome email’ which states that after the initial paid block their subscription will then start at the subscribed amount of their current package. To pause or cancel pending subscription 14 days notice must be given in writing to info@unit13fitness.ie before the end of the first initial term

  2. Once a client signs up for their initial block of training they then attend intro sessions. 

  3. When a client finishes their intro sessions they may then book their first Group PT Sessions via the booking app. To book sessions all clients must accept the terms and conditions and that agreement is then saved to the clients profile.

Once the subscription starts (after the initial period) between the client and UNIT 13 Fitness for Group PT or other subscription memberships it is noted that the contract start date is the date of receipt or attempt of first payment for said subscription. The contract is in force for minimum 4 week period from start date, with automatic monthly renewals thereafter. Pause or cancellation details can be read below but again the 14 day notice window applies for both.

Cancellations: 

A 2 week no penalty grace period applies from the date of submission of the initial term contract (First block payment). Whereby you may cancel the contract for any reason with no penalty for the remainder of the term of the contract / initial term agreement. Appropriate charges will be charged for the amount of days the contract was active and for fee’s incurred by UNIT 13 Fitness by the Financial provider stripe. These fees usually work out at 2.9-3.5% of the cost of initial purchase cost by the client.

Thereafter the contract may not be cancelled by the client until the remaining assigned period has elapsed and the client will be charged monthly per ‘agreement to pay recurring fees’ below.

After the initial period, a 14 day notice period of any cancellation is required and must be submitted to UNIT 13 Fitness via email to info@unit13fitness.ie. Verbal communication will not be accepted.

The contract may be cancelled by UNIT 13 Fitness without notice or reason.

Freezing of Auto Pay / Subscription: 


To freeze an auto pay, a request must be submitted in writing at least 14 days in advance of the billing date to info@unit13fitness.ie in order for the request to be effective the following period.

At the sole discretion of UNIT 13 fitness, each client may request a 2 week pause to pause their membership and do so once per calendar year.

If clients lose out on sessions outside of this pause then missed sessions (credits) may be added to the clients account so they can catch up on lost credits. This allows clients to then also regain their loss of strength and fitness faster.

Clients may also enquire to use their membership payment for other services such as remote coaching and training if they are away for longer than 2 weeks per calendar year. Please enquire to info@unit13fitness.ie to know more.

Cancellation of Sessions:

For Group PT you may cancel a session and rearrange times with 12 hours notice prior to the session starting time. Late cancellations will result in that credit and class being lost.

Missed Sessions:


Any training sessions within the weekly allowance per the membership package not completed may be carried over to complete within a 3 week period from the end of the week where a session was missed, provided a membership is still active and communication for alteration of credits has been communicated and confirmed to info@unit13fitness.ie.

An active membership is one where a monthly membership fee is still being paid. Missed sessions may not be carried over if a membership is cancelled. Missed sessions may not be carried over on a paused membership for longer than a duration of 2 weeks. Payments may not be stopped to “catch up” missed sessions.

Agreement To Pay Recurring Fees: 


The client agrees to pay UNIT 13 fitness recurring fees as follows: Unit 13 Fitness membership per the package subscribed to via client authorised automatic credit or debit card. Payment in monthly increments by any means other than the client’s credit or debit card is not permitted.

Please read and agree to the below terms:

(a) I agree to purchase an initial term membership to Unit 13 fitness and accept the automatic renewal that will occur after the initial period has elapsed unless I decide to give notification of cancellation to which 14 days is required.

(b) I agree to a monthly charge on my credit / debit card each week for the contract period and any renewals thereafter.

(c) I hereby certify that I am the named holder of the debit / credit card

(d) I understand that my service will be deactivated if my account becomes more than 30 calendar days late.

I agree that I have read the terms and conditions of this contract and will abide by them.

1:1 & 2:1 Personal Training Agreement:

For 1-1 or other services 24 hours notice must be given via phone OR info@unit13fitness.ie.

All Personal training booked separately to the group membership works on a pre bought basis. Meaning that clients pay up front for a block of 1-1 PT sessions.

These PT sessions must be used up within the allocated time. Say for example if 24 sessions are purchased to be used over 12 weeks, then 24 sessions must be used up within those 12 weeks.

In the case of a pause to this agreement or push back of sessions this needs to be agreed in writing to our admin team via info@unit13fitness.ie requesting for session credits to be moved forward to X date. 14 days notice must be given to process such an arrangement.
